Metal Prints : Excellent Way to Present Art

Metal prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. You’ve never seen a more brilliant and impressive print! Colors are vibrant and the luminescence is breathtaking. Detail and resolution are unsurpassed.

Images printed with this process will last for generations when displayed indoors and out of direct sunlight. Metal prints have an additional benefit over gicleé or photographic processes in that they are waterproof and have an ultra-hard scratch resistant coating. The archival value of a print should be judged not only by its resistance to degradation by U.V. light and ozone exposure, but also to moisture and surface damage. New Panoramic Travel Photography

I added some new wide angle panoramic shots from around the world at such locations as Rome, Florence, Prague, Paris, Vatican City and Copenhagen. These shots were all taken on the fly and hand assembled taking hours of focus. They can be ordered on canvas on widths up to 55″ (framing also available). They make great statement pieces, even for large walls. I welcome any and all feedback. Enjoy!

Harvest Fair 2011 : SFPhoto Contest Awards

Fisherman’s Festival 2011 : Support Local Artists

I will be exhibiting this weekend (Saturday, April 30th – Sunday, May 1st) out in Bodega Bay at the 2011 Annual Fisherman’s Festival.

Spring is Coming : Macro Floral

Inspired by the beautiful weather I thought I would post one of my favorite shots from a local shoot I did in a garden a few years back. I have been told by some of those that appreciate my photography that this shot gives the succulent a type of persona, almost brings it to life. Holidays : Santa Rosa, CA

I got this shot after decorating for the holidays last year on a cold evening out on the patio. I appreciate family and friends so Thanksgiving and Christmas is an especially enjoyable time of the year for me. It is exciting getting out all the light and ornaments not only to decorate my living space – but to also give me an excuse to play with the camera and macro lense. Photo Exhibit : Cafe Azul : 11.3.10

I will be exhibiting at Cafe Azul from 11.3.10 through 12.14.10.

There is a grand opening to “meet the artist” with live music on 11.3 from 6-8 pm.

I will be auctioning off artwork to benefit the American Cancer Society, have drawing to win a free piece of art and be giving away free Sean Foote Photography gift cards for folks to use during the holidays!
